At 2 Chicks With Chocolate, we take food allergies and customer safety seriously.

Our chocolates and other products are produced and/or handled in an environment where common food allergens are present.

Please review the following information carefully before purchasing or consuming our products, particularly if you or the intended recipient has a food allergy, sensitivity, or dietary restriction.

ALLERGEN ADVISORY

Our products may contain or come into contact with common food allergens, including but not limited to:

  • Peanuts

  • Tree nuts

  • Milk

  • Soy

  • Wheat

  • Eggs

  • Sesame

  • Other allergens

Because products may be prepared, handled, stored, or packaged using shared equipment or in shared facilities, cross-contact with allergens is possible.

We cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from trace amounts of allergens unless expressly stated otherwise.

If you or the intended recipient has a severe food allergy, please contact us before purchasing or consuming our products.

PEANUTS AND TREE NUTS

Peanuts and tree nuts are used in our facility and in certain 2 Chicks With Chocolate products.

Some chocolates or assortments may be made without intentionally including peanuts, tree nuts, peanut butter, hazelnuts, or other nut-containing ingredients.

However, because these products may be prepared or handled in an environment where peanuts and tree nuts are present, cross-contact is possible.

Products made without nut ingredients should not be considered completely allergen-free or produced in a dedicated nut-free facility unless expressly stated otherwise.

Individuals with severe, airborne, or highly sensitive peanut or tree-nut allergies should carefully consider the risk of cross-contact before purchasing or consuming our products.

PRODUCTS DESCRIBED AS “NUT FREE”

When a product or collection is described as “nut free,” “without nuts,” or similar, this generally means that nuts are not intentionally included as an ingredient in that particular product or assortment.

It does not mean that the product was produced in a dedicated nut-free facility.

Our facility handles peanuts, tree nuts, and products containing nuts.

As a result, trace amounts and cross-contact are possible.

For clearer labeling, we may also use language such as:

“Made Without Nut Ingredients — Produced in a Facility That Handles Peanuts and Tree Nuts.”

Customers with severe or highly sensitive allergies should contact us before ordering.

OTHER FOOD ALLERGIES

In addition to peanuts and tree nuts, our facility and products may contain or come into contact with allergens including:

Milk, soy, wheat, eggs, sesame, and other ingredients that may cause allergic reactions.

Ingredients vary by product.

If you have questions about the ingredients or allergens in a specific chocolate, assortment, gift box, or other product, please contact us before ordering.

VEGAN, GLUTEN-FREE, SUGAR-FREE, AND OTHER DIETARY DESCRIPTIONS

Certain products may be described as vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, nut-free, or using similar dietary terminology.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these descriptions refer to the intended ingredients or formulation of the specific product.

They do not necessarily mean that the product was manufactured in a dedicated allergen-free facility.

Cross-contact with other ingredients may be possible during production, handling, storage, or packaging.

Customers with medically diagnosed allergies or serious dietary restrictions should not rely solely on a product category or marketing description when determining whether a product is appropriate for them.

CUSTOM ORDERS, GIFT BOXES, AND ASSORTMENTS

Custom orders, assorted chocolate boxes, seasonal collections, corporate gifts, favors, and other assortments may contain a variety of products and ingredients.

If an order is intended for someone with a food allergy or dietary restriction, please notify us before placing or finalizing the order.

We cannot guarantee that a customized assortment can be made completely free from cross-contact with allergens present in our facility.

CHILDREN AND FOOD ALLERGIES

Parents, guardians, and responsible adults should review ingredient and allergen information before allowing a child to consume our products.

If a child attending a party, event, class, or other experience at 2 Chicks With Chocolate has a known food allergy or dietary restriction, a parent or guardian should notify us in advance of the event.

While we will make reasonable efforts to provide information and accommodate requests where possible, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
